Create a New Workflow and Select Starting Trigger

👉 Where to Click:Left Sidebar > Automations > '+ New Automation' > 'Start from Scratch' or Pick Template

Upon creation, the canvas places the initial Trigger Node at center stage. Every flow begins with an activating event:

Drag and Connect Action Nodes onto the Canvas

Drag nodes from the side library onto the canvas. Click a node's output port and drag the wire to the next node's input. Available core action nodes include:

Simulate Workflow and Publish to Live Mode

👉 Where to Click:Top Toolbar > 'Simulate' and 'Publish' Buttons

Before going live, click 'Simulate'. Select a test contact to watch execution trace through nodes with illuminated glow paths. When verified, click 'Publish' to activate immediately.

🚨Critical Safety Rules & Ban Protection

  • 🛡️Anti-Loop Protection (Max 5 Runs/Day per Contact): To prevent infinite loop bugs from spamming customers, MailerWeb throttles runs to a hard cap of 5 executions per 24h per contact.
  • 🛡️Strategic Delay Pacing: Avoid firing 4 back-to-back WhatsApp messages instantaneously. Insert 'Delay' nodes (30-90s intervals) to emulate human typing pacing.

❓Frequently Asked Questions & Troubleshooting

P:If I edit an active flow, what happens to contacts waiting in a Delay node?

In-flight runs execute against their original version snapshot, ensuring live executions are never corrupted by draft edits.

P:Can I pause a live workflow temporarily?

Yes! Toggle the 'Active' switch in the top toolbar. New entries halt immediately while existing paused steps finish cleanly.
